Samsung will be launching its flagship phone, Galaxy Note 9 on August 9. Like always, the specifications have been made public ahead of lunch and shared in a hands-on report on Mobile-Review which comes from Russian Blogger Eldar who has been writing about new Samsung smartphones for quite some time.

Design
Galaxy Note 9 is a bit similar to Galaxy Note 8. There’s a change in the position of the fingerprint sensor, which is now below the camera at the back. Rumors suggest that there might be a dedicated camera button.
Samsung claims that Galaxy Note 9 will have a brighter display with an upgraded version of always on display. The screen size if 6.4 inches with ~514 PPI density. It is a super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and an aspect ratio of 18:5:9.
Processor and storage
Galaxy Note 9 will come with two variants:
- 6GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage
- 8GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage
The model released in the US will possibly run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor and the global model will run Exynos 9810 SoC.
Camera
Murtazin’s report suggests that there will be minor improvements to the camera department like better low-light photography, and improved optical image stabilization. Samsung is also said to integrate upgraded AR Emoji on the phablet. Galaxy Note 9 has a dual primary camera of 12MP+12MP and a secondary camera of 8MP.
Battery
The battery isn’t yet confirmed but it is expected to be around 3850mAh. Galaxy Note 9’s S Pen stylus will reportedly receive Bluetooth connectivity support along with a new option to unlock the device.
